Having flown to Portland to visit my friends, we all piled into their car to drive to Spokane, Washington, where we had been invited to attend my sister's wedding. The drive between Portland and Spokane should take about 6 hours, but we managed to double it by doing some sightseeing on the way. Among the attractions are several waterfalls, the Fruit Loop, the Columbia River itself, and of course, Mount Hood.
