Art from the
“Painting” with polymer clay
The first two pictures were an experiment, to see if polymer clay
would behave enough like paint to use as a medium for pictures, so they are
small, 5x7. I liked the results, especially the fact that clay can add
dimension and texture to a picture, so I decided to find other subjects, or
invent them. Clay works well to realize abstract ideas, and gives an
Impressionistic look to representational art. These pictures were all done
using my own photos as references.
